Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Automatic Screw Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain National Acme screw machines while producing quality parts to print.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with automatic screw machines, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to independently perform machine setup, tooling adjustments, and

Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate National Acme automatic screw machines
• Load steel/bar stock and run production according to specifications
• Perform machine adjustments and monitor production
• Sharpen and grind cutting tools as needed
• Use basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment
• Read production prints and verify parts meet specifications
• Perform in-process quality inspections and monitor part quality
• Record production and quality results
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience setting up and operating automatic screw machines
• Experience with National Acme screw machines preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
• Experience with tool sharpening and grinding
• Ability to read production prints
• Experience using measuring equipment for quality inspection
• Ability to work independently and maintain production quality
Schedule & Physical Requirements
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• 40+ hours per week
• Occasional Saturday work and overtime may be required
• Must be able to remain later when production requirements call for it
