We are looking for a skilled Project Engineering Manager to join our team at the Fermi Nuclear Power Plant in Newport, MI. This role involves serving as a key liaison between the client and a team of engineers and designers, ensuring the successful execution of modification packages at the plant. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
You will act as the primary field representative, managing engineering activities and guiding a team of engineers and designers. Your role includes enforcing company and project policies, planning and overseeing work to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals. You will supervise staff, delegate tasks, and monitor daily activities to identify and resolve potential issues. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver status reports and presentations to clients and management.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with coursework in energy conversion and power systems.

  • A Professional Engineering (PE) license in any U.S. state, with the ability to obtain licensure in other states.

  • Experience working in a U.S.-based nuclear power plant.

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.

  • The ability to prioritize and organize work in a multitasked environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Engineering with a focus on power systems.

  • Field experience, including walk-downs on power projects.

  • A background in electrical or instrumentation and controls engineering.

  • Experience preparing engineering design modification packages for nuclear power plants, including familiarity with the Nuclear Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-001).

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of 145,000−145,000−165,000 per year.
