Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management from an accredited institution, or four years of equivalent construction experience.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office products.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position requiring successful completion of pre-employment and random drug screenings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in all project-related duties.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with Company and Project Safety Plans.
  • Work closely with the project team and provide supervision for Field Engineers.
  • Support field teams with safety and technical requirements.
  • Track production progress and reporting to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Assist with material procurement and coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, safety teams, and subcontractors.
  • Estimate and track material quantities required for construction.
  • Monitor quality control issues related to construction materials and processes.
  • Ensure material deliveries conform to project plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and track project submittals.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and material deliveries.
  • Assist Project Managers with pay applications, job forecasting, change orders, and documentation.
  • Obtain necessary permits, utility locates (blue stake), and review project plans and specifications before project commencement.

Preferred Experience:

  • Heavy Civil and/or Industrial Construction experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret project documents, including plans, specifications, and special provisions.
  • Experience with Heavy Job system is a plus.
