We are a rapidly growing Plaintiff’s Elder Abuse & Personal Injury law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, dedicated to advocating for vulnerable individuals and holding negligent parties accountable. Our firm is committed to delivering exceptional client service, top-tier legal representation, and justice for those affected by elder abuse and personal injury.
As part of our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Elder Abuse & Personal Injury Attorney Associate to join our team. This role is an opportunity for a passionate litigator who wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients while growing within a supportive and dynamic legal environment.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Elder Abuse law and be prepared to handle a fast-paced caseload of elder abuse and personal injury cases. Candidates must be willing to travel throughout California to attend court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and depositions.
Prior Elder Abuse law experience is required, but we are willing to provide full training in Personal Injury law if needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in elder abuse and personal injury litigation, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, mediation briefs, trial briefs, and motions.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences throughout California.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop strong litigation strategies.
- Effectively manage case files, court deadlines, and document preparation.
- Communicate compassionately and professionally with clients, ensuring they receive outstanding legal representation.
- Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and litigation plans.
- Lead and support junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff, fostering a strong team-oriented culture.
Requirements
- Active admission to the State Bar of California.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Elder Abuse litigation.
- Strong trial, arbitration, and mediation experience.
- Ability to travel throughout California for court appearances and depositions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for representing injured clients against insurance companies and negligent parties.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members within the firm.
Note: Both Plaintiff and Defense attorneys will be considered for this position. All applications will be handled confidentially, particularly for defense attorneys looking to transition to plaintiff work.
