We are currently seeking a full-time Structural Designer/Drafter to join our growing team.


Position Overview

The Structural Designer/Drafter will support the Engineering team in managing complex projects, including large Senior Living, Independent Living Facilities (ILF), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), and Multifamily Mid-rise developments—both new construction and renovation. This role requires strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a focus on producing high-quality schematic, design development, and construction documents according to our firm’s standards and policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare drawings and plans for new or modified systems

  • Produce layout diagrams, schematics, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit

  • Assist with calculations and structural design across all project phases

  • Ensure quality and accuracy of engineering documents to meet client expectations

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and cross-disciplinary teams

  • Participate in the coordination of multiple design disciplines

  • Contribute to projects with an emphasis on Senior Living, Healthcare, Multi-Family, Retail, and Community developments


Qualifications

  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD with 3–5 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in structural design-build and drafting within an engineering or architectural setting

  • Demonstrated ability to produce construction documents for commercial and residential mid-rise projects

  • Solid understanding of common engineering/architectural concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Strong communication skills and sound professional judgment

  • Capable of producing:

    • Schematic Design Drawings

    • Design Development Drawings

    • Construction Documents


Software Proficiency

  • AutoCAD 2019 or later

  • Autodesk Revit 2019 or later

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)


Education Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Design, Engineering Technology, or equivalent work experience
