We are a highly rated, award-winning engineering, architecture, and interior design firm based in St. Petersburg, FL—recognized as a Fast 50 Company by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. We are currently seeking a licensed Structural Engineer to join our growing team in a full-time capacity.


Position Overview

The ideal candidate is a licensed Structural Engineer in the State of Florida with a strong background in both new construction and renovation of complex structures. You will lead the design and engineering efforts for large-scale projects, including Senior Living (ILF/ALF/SNF), Surgery Centers, and Multifamily High-rises. This role is responsible for managing project quality, coordinating engineering teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage structural engineering components of assigned projects from start to finish

  • Ensure quality deliverables aligned with project budgets and schedules

  • Perform structural analysis and design for new buildings and renovation projects

  • Lead and participate in project and construction meetings

  • Conduct on-site evaluations of existing building conditions

  • Review shop drawings and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs)

  • Collaborate and coordinate with architecture, electrical, and mechanical teams


Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida – Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Minimum 10 years of structural design experience in an A/E environment

  • Experience with structural design of Timber, Concrete, Masonry, and Steel systems

  • In-depth knowledge of building codes and industry best practices

  • Experience with Senior Living, Healthcare, Multifamily, and High-rise construction (both new and renovation)

  • Familiarity with AHCA requirements for healthcare design

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines


Preferred Skills

  • Strong proficiency in the software listed in “Primary Skills for this Role”

  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams

  • Effective use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
