We are seeking an experienced Senior Concrete Estimator to join our team in Woodland Hills, CA. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in estimating self-performed, multi-story, cast-in-place concrete structures and have a deep understanding of construction production rates, cost modeling, and industry-standard estimating tools.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed quantity take-offs and prepare preliminary pricing for multi-story cast-in-place concrete structures in California.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive estimates.
Ensure accurate forecasting of labor, materials, and equipment costs based on historical man-hour production rates for various formwork systems, placement, and finishing tasks.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience estimating self-performed, multi-story cast-in-place concrete structures in California.
Strong understanding of man-hour production rates for formwork systems, placing, and finishing tasks.
Proficiency in Excel, WinEst, Cost-OS, Timberline Precision Estimating, PlanSwift/On-Screen Takeoff (experience with Model-Based Estimating is a plus).
