We are growing rapidly and are looking for a full-time Superintendent who is passionate about building safe, high-quality infrastructure. As a key member of our field leadership team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of bridge and roadway projects, coordinate crews, and ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and according to the highest safety and quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and safety-minded professional who can confidently manage multiple stakeholders, solve problems in the field, and keep projects running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise construction crews on heavy civil bridge and roadway projects.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on the job site.
Review, interpret, and communicate project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper execution.
Monitor project progress, control costs, and provide accurate budget and job cost reporting.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Serve as the primary point of contact for field operations, addressing challenges and facilitating solutions quickly.
Prepare daily reports, maintain documentation, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent is required.
Bridge construction experience is mandatory.
Proven track record managing heavy civil bridge and roadway projects, including DOT and City/County work.
Strong ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and schedules to anticipate project needs.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Strong commitment to safety and quality.
Familiarity with cost tracking and job cost reporting systems.
Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to motivate and mentor crews.
Willingness to travel as projects require.
Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
