About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (PE/GE) with a strong background in geotechnical engineering to join our growing team in Murrieta, CA. You will play a key role in managing public works and land development projects, performing technical analyses, leading field exploration efforts, and ensuring quality project execution. This position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing a balance between office and home-based work.

Key Qualifications

  • Professional Credentials: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Geotechnical Engineer (GE)
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with database software
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Professional Competencies:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Persistence, determination, and responsiveness in solving challenges
  • Proven ability to overcome obstacles and develop practical solutions

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage public works and land development projects from proposal stage through final construction.
  • Conduct geotechnical analyses and develop recommendations based on findings.
  • Oversee project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.
  • Lead field exploration, testing, and construction observation to ensure project compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Location & Schedule

  • Primary Location: Murrieta, CA
  • Work Environment: Hybrid (in-office and work-from-home flexibility)
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
