For nearly 50 years, we, a full-service public accounting firm located in Winston-Salem, NC, have provided, accounting, tax, audit and consulting services to businesses and individuals throughout the Piedmont Triad and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a hands-on, self-starting tax professional with 2+ years of recent public accounting experience for an important role leading tax and accounting engagements.
Responsibilities:
Tax Preparation – Prepare individual, corporate and partnership tax returns
Accounting Services – Lead engagements throughout all phases of tax and accounting including tax research, projections and year-end planning
Client Services - Build existing client relationships and work collaboratively with our clients and tax team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA license or CPA candidate preferred
2+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
Ability to effectively perform tax research and communicate findings
Strong organization, communication, analytical, client service, and PC skills including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency (CCH Engagement or Axcess software proficiency are a plus)
Attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Real estate industry experience is a plus
