For nearly 50 years, we, a full-service public accounting firm located in Winston-Salem, NC, have provided, accounting, tax, audit and consulting services to businesses and individuals throughout the Piedmont Triad and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a hands-on, self-starting tax professional with 2+ years of recent public accounting experience for an important role leading tax and accounting engagements.


Responsibilities:


  • Tax Preparation – Prepare individual, corporate and partnership tax returns
  • Accounting Services – Lead engagements throughout all phases of tax and accounting including tax research, projections and year-end planning
  • Client Services - Build existing client relationships and work collaboratively with our clients and tax team


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA license or CPA candidate preferred
  • 2+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
  • Ability to effectively perform tax research and communicate findings
  • Strong organization, communication, analytical, client service, and PC skills including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency (CCH Engagement or Axcess software proficiency are a plus)
  • Attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Real estate industry experience is a plus
