Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Abatement / Demolition Supervisor based in Columbia, SC. The role involves overseeing and managing demolition and asbestos abatement projects from start to finish. Key tasks include supervising work crews, ensuring safety protocols are followed, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining project schedules, reporting progress, and resolving any issues that may arise during the project.
Qualifications
Experience in demolition and asbestos abatement
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to abatement and demolition
Project management skills, including scheduling, reporting, and issue resolution
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work on-site in Columbia, SC
Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., Asbestos Supervisor Certification) are a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in physically demanding environments
