Position Overview
The position of Field Manager is one of the most important jobs in the construction process. A Field Manager must be a highly organized leader with adept knowledge of trade work and scheduling. A Field Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The ability to work with Project Management to set and maintain a working project schedule from project start to completion.
Ensure that all OSHA and company safety standards are being met by subcontractors and our employees.
Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of project drawings and specifications.
Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of building codes and construction methods.
Track and communicate project bulletins and changes
Perform quality control inspections and verify proper layout and construction methods
Schedule and inventory the delivery of job site materials and equipment
Resolve job site conflicts
Maintain a good relationship and open communication with sub-contractors, project management, local code officials, and clients
Position Requirements
5 years of supervisory experience in the commercial construction industry
Must have proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, excel, outlook, and Procore)
OSHA and CPR certified preferred
Must have good communication skills
Must be able to travel throughout the United States
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must have a strong commitment to safety and quality
