We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager for our Development Division based in Tucson, AZ. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in site development and a comprehensive understanding of earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, and paving. Key Qualifications:


  • Extensive experience in site development projects
  • Broad technical knowledge in areas such as earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, and paving
  • Proven career stability and dedication in prior roles
  • Experience with asphalt work is a plus


What You’ll Be Doing:


Project Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Apply innovative and creative solutions to building and estimating projects
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments
  • Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates aligned with project specifications
  • Ensure complete understanding of project plans, specifications, and scope
  • Supervise and mentor Project Engineers/Assistant Estimators in:
  • Sending RFPs to subcontractors and vendors
  • Coordinating quantity take-offs
  • Reviewing subcontractor/vendor pricing
  • Preparing and attending hand-off meetings


Project Manager Responsibilities:


  • Oversee project execution and support collaboration between internal teams, subcontractors, and owners
  • Attend and lead project meetings
  • Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and project timelines
  • Manage job cost tracking and prepare monthly financial forecasts
  • Handle pay applications, change orders, RFIs, and issue resolution
  • Supervise and support Project Engineers in:
  • Reviewing subcontractor pay applications
  • Completing change orders and RFIs
  • Managing closeout documentation
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned

Applicable Project Types:


  • Infrastructure: Roadways, highways, bridges, utilities, earthwork, and paving
  • Utilities: Wastewater and water treatment facilities, booster stations, reservoirs
  • Development: Site development and associated infrastructure work
  • JOC Projects: Experience in job order contracting is a plus


Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Regular use of hands, computer equipment, and communication tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move through active construction sites
  • Work performed both indoors and outdoors, often in varied weather conditions
  • Exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and uneven terrain
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet project timelines
