About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure and utility projects in our growing Utilities Division. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by managing projects such as highways, roadways, bridges, and underground utility systems (water, gas, electric). If you're a results-driven leader with a passion for infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience leading transportation and utility projects (e.g., highways, roadways, bridges, water, gas, and electric systems)
- Strong background in civil construction including mechanical piping, SCADA systems, trenchless technologies, and electrical supply/control systems
- Experience in asphalt projects is a plus
- Demonstrated career stability and long-term contributions in past roles
Project Estimation Responsibilities
- Lead project estimating efforts including risk assessments and quantity take-offs
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and scopes of work
- Solicit and analyze vendor/subcontractor proposals
- Mentor junior staff including Project Engineers and Assistant Estimators
- Facilitate project hand-off meetings with operations teams
Project Management Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of assigned projects from planning through closeout
- Manage communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Ensure project delivery meets safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals
- Monitor job costs, create forecasts, and manage payment applications
- Handle change orders, conflict resolution, and project documentation
- Support and mentor Project Engineers in managing RFIs, submittals, and closeout materials

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate active construction sites
- Work in varied weather conditions and terrain
- Exposure to construction-related noise, dust, and machinery
- Flexibility to work extended hours when needed
