We seek a Family Law Attorney to manage all aspects of family law cases, provide compassionate counsel, and contribute to the firm’s growth through business development and client service excellence.

Job Responsibilities to Include:
Handle all aspects of family law matters including divorce, custody, alimony, and property division
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
Prepare and represent clients in court, mediation, and negotiation
Develop strategies for litigation, settlement, and negotiation in family law matters
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing empathetic and effective counsel
Actively engage in consultative selling of retained legal services to potential clients and facilitate the contracting process and close new business to meet firm growth goals
Participate in networking and other business development opportunities to generate new clients
Requirements:
JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school and admitted in NJ
4+ years of family law experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Client-oriented with the ability to explain family law concepts clearly
The ability to be empathetic with an enhanced lives through compassionate counsel.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software
Preferred Skills:
Litigation experience
An existing book of business for Hackensack office role. For Mount Laurel book of business is not needed
