Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team full-time. This field-based role involves supporting construction quality activities across various sites in Enfield and East Windsor, CT, ensuring that all work complies with project specifications, safety protocols, and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform field inspections for paving operations, patching, joint/crack sealing, and material placement Monitor installation and compliance of pavement markings, traffic equipment, and drainage features Document inspection findings in daily reports and maintain clear, detailed records Coordinate closely with the QC Manager, project engineers, and construction teams to resolve issues Ensure quality control protocols are followed by contractors and subcontractors Support adherence to project safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Assist with software-based tracking and reporting systems as required
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in construction inspection or quality control Familiarity with DOT standards and specifications (CTDOT experience is a plus) Proficiency in field documentation and report writing NETTCP QAT Certification (required or willingness to obtain) OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification Experience with paving, drainage, and traffic control inspections preferred Strong communication and coordination skills Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various site locations in the region
