We currently rank #25 on the Top 50 Electrical Contractors Listing published by Engineering News Record in October 2024 and have ranked #1 among electrical contractors in New England for four consecutive years. As our company continues to grow, we are looking to add a Low Voltage Specialist to our team. The primary responsibility is to develop and layout takeoffs of low voltage systems for bids with large system requirements to provide accurate bill of materials and labor requirements to Estimators. This involves:
Creating bill of materials to meet fit, form and function of specified products for design build/design assist projects
Working with Manufacturing system representatives to select the best system solution for Value Engineering
Participating in job start up meetings to discuss low voltage system products and installations
Partnering and building strong relationships with people at all levels
Must Haves:
A strong understanding of ANSI, EIA, TIA and BiCSi guidelines, low voltage systems
Product knowledge including Access Control, Video Management, Intrusion Detection, Public Address, Intercom, Nurse Call, Audio-Visual, DAS, BDA, Cell Amplification and IP based Network Electronics
A general understanding of construction project cycles
Strong MS Excel and Bluebeam skills
