Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead engineering projects, ensure compliance with industry standards, and collaborate with other engineering professionals to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through completion.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports and cost estimates.
Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Solve complex engineering problems and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
7 or more years of experience in civil engineering, with expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, design of site grading, drainage systems, stormwater quality measures, utilities (both private and public), and paving.
Proven experience with engineering design software and tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead project teams.
